To celebrate Nike’s 50th anniversary, BUCK partnered with the Nike Global Brand Experience team to bring the brand’s past, present, and future to life through a cutting-edge WebAR experience in Nike stores globally. This project aimed to capture the essence of the Department of Nike Archives (DNA) and support innovative storytelling within the retail space.
As a lead 3D designer for this project, the role involved rendering storyboard styleframes and designing AR boxes to help the client visualize how the experience would work on mobile devices, ensuring a seamless and engaging user journey.
This AR experience served as a portal into the DNA archives for visitors to Nike stores worldwide. By virtually displaying culturally significant artifacts from 11 stories, the experience encouraged consumers to engage deeply with Nike’s rich legacy.
